Soil Testing Equipment

Our test sieves are available in one piece frame of 4" diameter and also available in sizes of 1-1/2", 3", 5" and 6" diameter with suitable lid and receiver. Its frame is made up of spun brass and without any joint in it. It has clean rigid design of minimum weight and free from corners where the material could be lodged. An essential feature of test sieves is that the mesh should be flat, taut and uniform and with permanent tension round the whole circumference. Following are some other features of our product:

• Uniform fabrications of the sieves permit easy and smooth nesting on each others and also with lid and receivers.
• Imported stainless steel 18/8 quality or Phosphor Bronze standard sieve cloth is used for batter performance and lasting.

We are engaged into efficiently manufacturing of pycnometers products as per the Ref Std :IS 2386. These are accurate and quick in its functionality. This instrument enables the density of a fluid to be measured accurately. Following are features of this product:

We offer a wide range of rapid soil moisture meter, which are used for moisture content determination in soil, sand, coal, pottery and cement. These consist of a pressure vessel with clamp for sealing cap rubber sealing gasket, pressure gauge calibrated in percentage moisture content, counter poised balance for weighing sample, scoop for measuring absorbent, bottle of absorbent, cleaning brush etc.

Our range of sieve shaker are light in weight, portable and suitable for bench mounting. These are incorporated with a heavy fly wheel, which ensures smooth operation. Further, our range is offered at industry leading prices.

Hand Operated IS : 2720 (Part XIII)

The unit confirms to IS2720. It has a hand operated horizontal loading system for shearing the specimen. Hangers are provided for creating normal stress.

It comprises :-

• Shear box assembly, 60 mm square, complete with a U-bracket, guide pins and spacing screws, made of brass.
• Gripper assembly consisting of two plain grid plates, two perforated grid plates, one base plate and one loading pad, all made of brass.
• Two porous stones, each 6 mm thick, fitting the shear box
• Shear box housing of brass, complete with two ball roller strips.
• Loading unit with normal loading of 8kg/cm2 on 60 mm square specimen.
• Specimen cutter for a specimen size of 60 mm x 60 mm x 25 mm.
• Set of weights to give a normal stress upto 3 kg/cm2 through lever, comprising 4 of 0.05 kg/cm2, 1 of 0.1 kg/cm2, 1 of 0.2 kg/cm2, 3 of 0.5 kg/cm2 and 1 of 1 kg/cm2.

The kit consists of :-

• Cylindrical core cutter 100mm inner dia x 130mm long with bevelled cutting edge and having wall thickness of 3 mm.
• Steel dolley 100 mm inner dia x 25 mm high.
• Rammer with steel rod for driving the core cutter.

The apparatus is suitable for field density estimation of fine and medium grained soils, as per IS: 2720 (Part XXVIII). It consists of:

• Sand Pouring Cylinder 115 mm internal dia with conical funnel and shutter.
• Calibrating Container,100mminner dia and 150 mm deep with flange 50 mm wide.
• Metal tray 300mm square x 40mm deep with a 100mm dia hole at the centre.

The apparatus is suitable for estimation of field density of fine, medium and coarsegrained soils, as per IS : 2720 (part XXVIII). it consists of :-

• Sand Pouring Cylinder, 215 mm internal dia, with conical funnel and shutter.
• Calibrating container 200 mm inner dia x 250 mm high with 75 mm wide flange.
• Metal tray 450mmsquare x 50mmdeep with a 200 mm dia hole at the centre.

The CBR apparatus consists of :-

• Hand operated load frame, capacity 5000 kg (50 KN).
